形態特徵

Stemless annuals.
Leaves radical, many, linear, ribbonlike, glabrous, 2-10 cm long, 2-5 mm wide, apex acute to attenuate, 6-10-nerved; peduncles numerous, (5-)7-19 cm long, 4-6-ribbed, twisted, sheath tubular, bladeless, glabrous, (1.8-)2.2-5(-7) cm long, apex oblique; heads hemispherical, 2-3 mm long, 4-5 mm in diam.; involucral bracts oblong to obovate, membranaceous, pale brown, glabrous, apex obtuse, 2 mm long, 1 mm wide; receptacle glabrous to sparsely pilose; floral bracts obovate, glabrous, black on upper part, membranaceous, apex acute, base cuneate, 2 mm long, 1 mm wide.
Staminate flowers: calyx spathe-like, open on one side, obovate, glabrous, black on upper part, 2 mm long, 0.6-0.9 mm wide, apex bilobate or deeply bilobate or slightly trilobate; corolla lobes 3, with black glandes and few clavate hairs at apex; anthers 6, black. Pistillate flowers: sepals 2, free, linear, black or pale brown, glabrous, 1.2-1.5 mm long, apex acute; petals 3, oblanceolate-linear, pale brown, 1.2 mm long, pilose on margin and inner, with few white clavate hairs and minutely glandular at apex; ovary 3-locular, glabrous; stigmas 3, longer than style.
Seeds ellipsoid, pale yellow, 0.4 mm long, with retangular reticulations of ribbon-like bands.
